Step 1: Install and Activate Masteriyo LMS
The first step in using any plugin in your WordPress site is to install and activate the plugin. So, let’s install the Masteriyo LMS.
To do so, log in to the WordPress dashboard. Then, navigate to Plugins >> Add New in your dashboard.
You’ll be directed to the Add Plugins, where you can see a search bar at the top-right corner. So, search for the Masteriyo LMS from here. As the results show you the plugin, click on the Install Now button.
The plugin gets installed within a few seconds, and you’ll see the Activate button. Hit the button and activate the plugin.
Now, you’ve successfully installed and activated the Masteriyo LMS on your WordPress site.
Step 2: Configure Settings for Masteriyo LMS
As soon as you activate the plugin, it’ll direct you to the setup wizard page. That’s where you can configure the basic settings for the Masteriyo LMS plugin.

To start the course building, add the Course Name first. Then, add the description of your course in the Course Description field. You can also use the editor to modify your fonts in the course description field.
Similarly, on the right side, you’ll see Course Highlights, where you can add the highlights of your course content. Just below the Course Highlights, there is a Categories field for adding course categories. Also, you can add the feature image for your course from the Add Featured image section.
When you complete the process, hit the Next button to add a new section to your course.
Step 4: Create a New Section
Hitting the Next button directs you to the Builder page, where you can add a new section. So, hit the Add New Section button to get started.
Now, it displays an interface to let you add the Section Name. Give the name for the section and click on the Add button when you finish the action.
Step 5: Add New Lessons
Once you add the new section, it takes you to the new page, where you can add course content. So, click on the Add New Content, and you’ll see two options: Add New Lesson and Add New Quiz. Hence, click on the Add New Lesson from here.
Now, it’ll direct you to the new interface, from where you can name the lesson in the Lesson Name fields. Likewise, you can add the contents to the lesson in Lesson Description.

To edit or delete the section, click on the three vertical dots at the right end of the section’s name. And, if you want to edit the lessons you’ve created, simply click on the Edit button at the right end of the lesson name. Also, you can delete the lesson from here by clicking on the Delete button
Finally, it’s time to publish the lesson that you’ve created. So, click on the Publish button at the top right corner to get your lesson published.
